2024 NSTA Championships Open & Junior events will be held in February
February 2/3/4, 9/10/11, 16/17/18, 24/25 with finals to be held Sunday, February 25. All matches played will count towards a player’s UTR. Friday night matches won’t start before 6pm and will only be scheduled when necessary subject to draw size.
Players will need a Tennis ID number to enter. That can only be obtained by contacting Tennis NSW 1800 PLAY TENNIS (1800 752 983) or customersupport@tennis.com.au. Once you have this number go to your UTR profile and link your number to your profile.
We are aware that juniors have school sport on Saturdays. The scheduling will be as such that junior matches will predominately be played on Sundays. Open/senior matches may be played on either day. Draws with larger numbers may need to be played across multiple days/weekends.
2024 OC JC NSTA Open & Junior Championships | All Tournaments – Tennis Australia
Depending on draw size some events may require qualifying prior to main draw scheduling. The SJTT competition will not be played at the same time so matches will not overlap. Junior matches will not clash with Saturday sport. Championship matches will take priority over Saturday Afternoon Comp matches (where possible we will try to avoid a clash).
To be eligible to enter players must fit into one of the following criteria.
Age eligibility
When entering your child into an age group, the age they will be at the end of the month the event finishes determines which age group they can enter. i.e If the players wishes to enter the 12/U boys singles but turns 13 before February 29 they would not be able to enter 12/U and would need to play in the 14/U boys singles. Players can enter in 2 age groups but must be prepared to play multiple matches in a day.
PROPOSED SCHEDULE TBA
