The North Shore Open is the only Australian Money Tournament (AMT) on the lower North Shore.  In 2013, just 2 years since its inception it was a finalist in the Newcombe Awards as the most outstanding AMT.

A Platinum AMT, known by players as more than a tennis tournament, the tournament attracts elite local, national and international players each year vying for part $23,000 prize purse. Open and A grade singles and doubles events.
