About
NSTA holds a competition of a Sunday morning for children and adults. You are encouraged to play for a club as this will assist with court allocation. If you don’t belong to a club, contact us for assistance. All teams are graded.
Timeslots
- 8:00am – 10:30 am – for younger children or beginners through to intermediate players. Use of Green ball the lower divisions.
- 10:30am – 1:00pm – for intermediate to advanced teens and adults.
Format
- Teams of 2 people (any gender, any age)
- Each player plays 1 set of singles and 2 sets of doubles.
- 8am matches has a tie-break at 5-5 and 3 point/short deuce.
- 10:30am matches has a 5-5 tie-break and long deuce.
- The competition runs 4 times a year during the school term. The competition runs for 7 weeks + Grand Final

The home team supplies new balls - The winning team records results onto Xpoint (Xpoint is where draws and results can be found. If you are having troubles, please contact admin@nsta.com.au
- In the event of wet weather the HOME team is to contact the venue you are scheduled to play at directly to seek advice about the condition of the courts. Once a decision has been made please contact your opposition and advise of playing conditions.
