NSTA holds a competition of a Sunday morning for children and adults (if you are not a member of an NSTA club, please visit the ‘Clubs & Centres’ tab to find the closest club to you. NSTA may have limited home courts available to those who are not members of an NSTA club – please contact the administrator directly).
2 Timeslots are run 8:00am – 10:30 am (for younger children or those starting out, the lowest divisions in the competition are Green Ball) 10:30am – 1pm (for older children and adults)
Sunday Competition Format
– Teams of 2 (any gender, any age) – Each player plays 1 set of singles and 2 sets of doubles. Each set is a tie-break at 5-5 and 3 point/short deuce for 8am matches and 6-6 tie-break and long deuce for 10.30am matches. – The lowest division(s) of this comp is played with Green Balls – The competition runs 4 times a year during the school term. The competition runs for 7 weeks + a Grand Final
For all competitions: – The home team supplies new balls – The winning team records results onto Xpoint (Xpoint is where draws and results can be found. If you are having troubles, please contact email@example.com) – 3rd point deuce (e.g a game would go: 40-30, deuce, AD, sudden death point) and the receiver chooses which side to play the sudden death point on for all 8am matches – NSTA is not staffed during playing hours and does not make decisions regarding wet weather, please contact your opponents to discuss and contact the club you are scheduled to play at directly to seek advice about the condition of the courts – Winners and Runner-Up of Sunday Competition receive trophies – Please keep in mind the spirit of our weeknight competition is social and is a fun atmosphere

*Entry fee for direct entries includes court hire and balls for home matches (balls must be collected from the NSTA office at the start of the term, prior to Round 1).
