Night Comp

Night comp is played all year round on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday nights. Comp dates follow the school terms. Choose from doubles, mixed, singles and both singles and doubles. Night is played at various locations within the association. Form your own team or speak to us and we can help find a team or list you as a reserve.

Junior UTR Events

NSTA will be holding UTR events on Friday evenings at Talus St.

Saturday Afternoon

The comps are run to the season – Summer, Autumn, Winter and Spring. Dates reflect the school term. Pairs or 4 person teams, adults and juniors, with a choice of formats – doubles, mixed, singles and doubles. Played over 2.5 hours on two courts.  Some comps have choice of time slot – midday or a later start. Short sets.

Saturday Morning Junior

NSTA runs an inter-school competition during the school terms. This a school competition that you must enter via your school. Contact us for more information

Sydney Junior Team Tennis – Sunday Mornings

Four comps per school term. There are 2 playing times:

8:00am – 10:00am UTR 0 – 3.5  (additional green ball divisions available)

10:00am to 12:30pm UTR 3.5 – 7 & 7+ divisions

  • Two players in a team (any gender)
  • 1 sets of doubles and 1 sets of singles per player.
  • Home and away format
  • Players must be U/18 (18 year old are accepted if still attending high school)

Interdistrict

Interdistrict is one of the oldest tennis competitions in Australia, with the first competition between the Metropolitan District Tennis Associations being conducted in 1921.

Nominations are now open for 2022. NSTA will be holding trials for team selection in May.

Family Challenges

The next Family Challenge will be held in term . The format is graded round-robin doubles. Open to families of any relationship, age and standard. A great social and competitive event. This is the only event where parents and their children can partner up and enjoy a fun afternoon of tennis.
